Notes:Married and lived their lives just north
of Carlisle, Arkansas. Elizabeth and three daughters did go up to Lafayette,
Indiana, to attend the 50th Anniversary celebration of her uncle Correll
Higley. And in 1938 the couple took a trip to Yakima, Washington to
visit Elizabeth's mother. On the way they stopped at Charlie's birthplace.
They were known as Mom and Papa to both their children and grandchildren.
Charlie raised rice and dairy cattle. Milking the cows was a daily chore of the whole family.
